    The statement on behalf of Poland was delivered on 9th October 2017 by Marcin Wróblewski, Deputy Director of the Security Policy Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

    The UNGA First Committee deals with matters related to international security, disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control. Director Wróblewski referred in his statement to the review process of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Polish chairmanship in one of its Preparatory Committees; Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT); negotiations of the resolution on implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention – which is sponsored solely by Poland; and The Hague Code of Conduct Against Proliferation of Ballistic Missiles.
